FAQ
Frequently asked questions about our coffee and service.
We currently deliver only within Romania. All orders (one-time and subscriptions) are shipped to Romanian addresses only. If you're abroad but want our coffee, keep an eye on this page; we'll update it if that changes.
We ship within 1-2 business days of roasting. Delivery within Romania takes between 1-3 business days.
Coffee is a food product, so we can't accept returns on opened bags for hygiene reasons (OUG 34/2014, Art. 16). If your bag is still sealed and unopened, you can return it within 14 days for a full refund. If you've opened it and the coffee isn't what you expected, get in touch within 14 days and we'll figure something out, usually a replacement or credit. If the bag arrives damaged, that's on us. Just let us know within 48 hours. Subscriptions can be paused or cancelled anytime from your account.
Every batch is roasted at the end of each month. The coffee arrives at your door after a minimal resting period of 7 days
Pick your size, grind. We handle the rest. Each cycle they select the best microlots available, so the specific coffee changes with the seasons. You can pause or cancel anytime from your account.
Yes and no. We work with seasonal microlots, which means the origin, variety, and flavor profile can change. But we typically use the same coffee for about 3 or 4 months before switching. One quarter might be fruity and bright, the next rich and chocolatey. If you want the exact same cup every time, supermarket coffee does that well. If you want something that keeps your taste buds awake, you're in the right place.
Whole bean is best for maximum freshness. Espresso grind is fine, like table salt. Filter grind is medium, like beach sand. Moka grind is between espresso and filter. When in doubt, go whole bean and grind at home.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our secure Stripe checkout. All transactions are processed in RON.
At checkout, select company billing and enter your CUI (VAT ID). We'll pull your company details automatically from ANAF. The invoice is issued to your company with CUI and registration number included. Your billing address can be different from the delivery address. If you want company billing for a subscription, you'll need to create a new one; you can't switch an existing individual subscription over.
The main difference: company accounts don't have access to the referral program. Your invoices will include your CUI, registration number, and company legal name. VAT treatment depends on whether your company is a VAT payer. For EU companies outside Romania, reverse charge VAT rules apply. For anything more specific, email us at [email protected].
